Checking your lymph nodes Lymph nodes can swell when your body is fighting an infection. You can gently check the areas around your neck, under your arms and in your groin for any new or unusual swelling. Most swollen lymph nodes are caused by minor infections, but speak to your GP if swelling persists or concerns you.
General Lumps & Bumps Check your body regularly for any new, unusual or persistent lumps or bumps. Most are harmless, but it’s important to know what’s normal for you and get anything that concerns you checked.
